that could be that! Back-of-the-hand slower ball on off stump. Imad swings wildly at it and slices it over backward point. Amir, running to his right from third man, tumbles to the ground and might have been in contact with the ropes when the ball was in contact with his body. The third umpire has a look at it, and signs off on it. Done and dusted. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders win by six wickets and with 14 balls to spare!

KnightRiders won by 6 wickets (with 14 balls remaining)
6pm That will be all from us for this game. There is more ILT20 action lined up today with MI Emirates taking on Gulf Giants in about half an hour from now. From Shashwat, Ranjith and Vairavan, this is goodbye!
Andries Gous is the Player of the Match for his 50-ball 95!
5:45pm A clinical Knight Riders run-chase, and this should set them up nicely for the ILT20. Gous' knock was the highlight, with the opener finishing on 95 off 50, smashing the ball to all parts during his innings. Pepper played his part too, as did Evans, and this has given the Knight Riders a solid blueprint, at least when batting second.
Nothing to shout about from a Vipers perspective. They could not make early inroads and were always playing catch-up. Hasaranga did not have a great day with the ball either, and that complicated matters in the middle overs. Lawrence and Mills were the only bright spots in what was otherwise a dull bowling display.
