0.6 to Nauman Anwar, Pressure was building and he tried to break-free, it was short and got a hint of wobble outside off, late attempt to cut it away and gets a faint edge through to the keeper, MI New York draw first blood. Boult provides the first breakthrough and a vital one. Tempted him with a slightly wide delivery that wasn't at full throttle, Nauman goes without troubling the scorers. 1/1
2.6 to Q de Kock, Oh, that stayed up in the air for an eternity but Nicholas Pooran was hellbent on pouching it safely, made fantastic ground and caught it magnificently. It was a short of a length delivery at middle and leg, de Kock tried to tug that away into the leg side and got a big top-edge, ball ballooned up. SO are in a spot of bother. 8/2
16.2 to Harmeet Singh, Typical response from Boult and MI New York! He takes the pace off and invites him to swing big again, Harmeet obliges and tries to clobber him out of sight, gets befuddled by the knuckle ball and hands a simpler catch to Tim David at cow corner, dangerous customer has to go back in the hut. 93/8
401614.00152010
12.2 to MG Bracewell, Backs away and Ehsan doesn't follow him, offers him width to free his arms, he takes the aerial route, lost his shape in the process, not off the middle but off the outside half of the bat, good height but Jahangir settles under it at deep point and doesn't make any mistake, clever change of pace from Ehsan that brought the demise of Bracwell, another crucial breakthrough for MI NY. 58/6
402015.00132030
17.2 to CJ Gannon, Short of a length at an irksome line at off, no width on offer, tries to bludgeon him over long-on and gets holed out in the end, once again, it's that man again Tim David who makes catching these skiers a piece of cake. 99/9
402235.50131100
5.4 to Aaron Jones, That looks plumb, easiest decision for Marais Erasmus, tries to go for a big yawning sweep, misses it altogether and he has to take the long walk back to the pavilion, early through the shot, but you can understand the reason behind such adventure, not many runs on the board and Jones wanted to break the shackles but Rashid is too hot to handle, pitched it full and got it turn away, don't bother taking the review. 19/3
7.3 to H Klaasen, Rashid Khan gets the big fish! Cleared the front leg, went back and lifted it in the air but didn't get the distance, Clinton just took a step in and gobbled it down his throat with ease, it's going from bad to worse for Orcas. Just couldn't get fully under it to generate the requisite power. 31/4
15.2 to SS Ranjane, What a riposte! Once again short but a lot quicker on this occasion, turning away outside off, tried to repeat that shot but couldn't get much power behind that shot, timed poorly and Tim David has got a safe pair of hands, caught well at deep midwicket. 83/7

11.2 to Imad Wasim, Tries to dominate the part-timer and loses his wicket in the process. How often do you see that happen in T20 cricket? Bowls a leg-cutter on a length outside off, invites him to go up and over cover but he couldn't lift it enough and picks out Nortje who takes the regulation catch down his throat. That didn't sound good off the bat. Looks disconsolate after perishing early in the piece. 53/5
19.1 to N Burger, Holes out to long-on! Leg-cutter on a fuller length, waited for a fraction of a second and then flicks it high for that fielder - it's Rashid Khan perched on the boundary and he snaffled that neatly into his hands as Orcas get rolled over for 108. Will that be enough on this bowling-friendly pitch?. 108/10

11.3 to TH David, Round the wicket, shorter delivery shoots up quickly and zings back in sharply from outside off, think he might have under-edged it and the umpire agrees, raises the dreaded finger. Tim David doesn't look sure about it and after a brief consultation with the non-striker decides to take a second opinion on it, well the batter mostly knows if he got something on it. Ultra-edge confirms the ball scratches the inside edge and that is damning evidence for Tim David.. 83/4

2.3 to R Clinton, Adjusts brilliantly and drags his length back, follows him as he shimmies down leg to access the gaps at cover, can only manage to hit it as far as Ranjane who pouches it at head height, Clinton will be gutted with himself, credit to Gannon for following him up and making that adjustment quickly. Orcas need to pick wickets at regular intervals to stay alive in the contest. 12/1
2.6 to MD Patel, Gone! Monank Patel loses the plot! Well-directed bumper at middle and leg, tempting him to go for a pull, lost his shape while executing the shot and gloved it to the keeper. Gannon gets his second.. 16/2
3.201715.10100120
6.5 to Shayan Jahangir, Swivel-pull gone awry Zaman provides the much-needed breakthrough! Thumped hard into the surface and gets fierce bounce, slightly leg-sidish, transfers weight onto his backfoot and goes for the hook, finds Imad Wasim at fine leg who didn't have to move much to gobble that. Can Zaman trigger a collapse? Jahangir's short stay at the crease comes to an end. It was a perfect opportunity to spend time out in the middle and get some runs to gain confidence early in the tournament.. 57/3
