4.1 to MJ Guptill, superb catch by de Leede! Fuller and width outside the off stump. Guptill drives but it's close to fielder at cover. The ball is travelling fast. So de Leede has to dive to his left and take the catch. 22/1 8.3 to LRPL Taylor, not to be as Taylor is out caught at backward point. Short delivery outside the off stump. He pushes at it only to get an edge to the fielder at backward point (van Beek). Netherlands are looking the favourites as they have New Zealand in trouble. 31/4 46.2 to IS Sodhi, fuller ball outside the off stump. He makes room and looks to slog it. Doesn't get enough bat on it as Vikramjit Singh takes the catch by running to his right from point. 221/8

5.2 to WA Young, they have Young! That's an unfortunate way to be dismissed. He is walking across to the short of good length delivery as he looks to pull it. He misses and gets hit on the thigh pad. The balls pops up off the thigh pad and hits his elbow and drops down to the leg stump.. 25/2 7.5 to HM Nicholls, Netherlands are getting deeper into the New Zealand batting order! Short delivery around the leg stump line. While Nicholls has looked good against the short ball, he has also had instances where he was uncomfortable. This time it bounces high on him as he looks to pull. He can only get a top edge to the fielder at midwicket. 30/3 9.4 to MG Bracewell, half the New Zealand side are back in the pavilion! Short ball on the leg stump. Bracewell hooks and gets a top edge to long leg. There was a hint of extra bounce there and it does seem like Bracewell was drawn into this stroke. Superb bowling by Netherlands!. 32/5 47.5 to KA Jamieson, reviews an LBW decision! This was a full toss that was dipping down on him. He looks to defend and is beaten. The height isn't a problem. The only doubt, if any, was if it was going down leg. It was hitting him in line with the stumps and that's the ninth wicket down. 235/9

39.2 to DAJ Bracewell, and there's the wicket that might change the target they might eventually chase! Fuller ball outside the off stump. He comes down the track and looks to go over long-off but mistimes it to long-on. Glover dives forward and takes a good catch. 179/7

22.5 to C de Grandhomme, CDG has given it away! Short ball on the stumps. Some other day, he might have deposited it in the stands but today he gets a top edge that keeper gets under. Poor execution of the stroke. 89/6

0.5 to SJ Myburgh, length ball on the stumps. He looks to flick it and gets a leading edge that pops up. Doug Bracewell runs across and takes the catch. Poor start for Netherlands. 4/1

1.1 to MP O'Dowd, and that's a wicket first ball! Good length ball outside the off stump. He chases it and gets an outside edge to second slip where Guptill juggles a couple of times before taking the catch. 4/2 32.4 to A Dutt, slower ball on the stumps. Fuller in line. It was set up nicely as he bowled deliveries with faster pace and reduced the pace on this delivery. Aryan is through his drive as he is deceived. The ball clatters the stumps as Aryan is completing the follow through. 138/9

19.2 to SA Edwards, and Tickner has a wicket! Short ball outside the off stump. Edwards pulls it straight to Nicholls at deep square-leg. This was a trap that he walked into. 89/4

15.6 to Vikramjit Singh, gets dismissed off a full toss! On the leg stump and he lofts it straight into the hands of Ish Sodhi at long on. 81/3

22.1 to BFW de Leede, Googly gets the wicket. On the off stump . He looks to flick and can only manage to chip it to the midwicket fielder. Soft dismissal. 103/5 34.1 to BD Glover, New Zealand win by 118 runs. Leg spinner and he gets an edge back to Ross Taylor at first slip. 146/10

25.3 to PM Seelaar, a dream dismissal for an off spinner! He looks to defend it and bowled as the ball turns in the gap between bat and pad. Superb delivery that. 119/6 27.3 to MJG Rippon, Michael Bracewell is doing it for all the off spinners around the world! R Ashwin, if watching, would nod his head in acknowledgement. Flighted, beautiful dip. Deceives Rippon with the dip as he is skipping down the track. Latham has all the time to whip the bails off. Michael Bracewell is putting on a show tonight. 122/7 29.6 to LV van Beek, and there's the third wicket! Good length delivery outside the off stump. van Beek defends and gets an outside edge to Ross Taylor at first slip. 129/8 |
