short ball and hoicked away! It was a real half tracker from Aryan, picks up the length early and clobbers it way over deep midwicket fence
West Indies take unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series. Netherlands were knocked out under 50 overs and managed to score just 214. Max O'Dowd and Vikramjit took the West Indies bowlers apart and piled a century stand before Vikramjit lobbed one back to Walsh, O'Dowd followed him adding just 14 more to the total. None of the other batters looked comfortable against the spin except for Scot Edwards who used his feet well and maneuvered all over the park. Except for the top three none of the other batters managed to even reach the two figure mark. Akeal Hosein the chief destroyer once again bagged match winning 4 scalps. But not to forget West Indies fielding early on was in bit of shambles and dropped a few sitters which helped the Netherlands openers to pocket some easy runs.
Chasing the modest 215, West Indies didn't get to the start they had last game. Logan van Beek kept asking questions and eventually got better of Brooks who chipped one straight to Seelaar at midwicket. Centurion of the last game Shai Hope, Nkrumah Bonner, who is yet to find some form, and the skipper Nic Pooran didn't last long either. The Dutch sniffed something special but was just a momentary bliss as Brandon King and Keacy Carty stitched a match defining century run partnership and saw their team home. Bas de Leede who failed with the willow in his last two outings was better with the ball. Bowled with some gas and bagged two important wickets at the crucial juncture of the game.
Brandon King has been adjudged Player of the match for his match winning knock. That is it from here, this is Thilak Ram signing off on behalf of Binoy George and Ranjith P. Take care and Tot ziens...!
