21.4 to LM Jongwe, Bangs it short on the stumps, Jongwe backs away but has his bat up. Madushanka seems to have heard something and convinces Mendis to opt for the review. He follows the batter backing away with the short ball, which forced him to take evasive action. Did Jongwe get an edge? Theekshana at mid-on was also convinced, Mendis behind the stumps not so much. A spike on the UltraEdge and Sri Lanka celebrate. 91/8

16.1 to Sikandar Raza, Oh my word, what a way to be dismissed, Sikandar Raza! Sri Lanka are sure they have their man but the umpires just want to check if it is a stumping. And they have referred it upstairs for stumping. Raza is early in his attempt to get forward and paddle it away fine. But he deflects it off his gloves and the off bail comes off after the ball makes contact. Turns out that he overbalanced and the ball ricocheted onto the stumps off Kusal Mendis' wicketkeeping pads. Unfortunate way to be dismissed but Zimbabwe are in proper mess now. 67/6

15.6 to RP Burl, Castled! Liyanage gets it right and leaps to celebrate. He spears it on a full length at 129kph, in line of the stumps. Burl backs away to give room and go over the off side but misses it completely. 67/5
5.511973.25250101
8.6 to T Kaitano, taken at short fine leg! The rain breaks Zimbabwe's momentum. Good catch going low by Madushanka. Hasaranga continued bowling the googly, as he got this to pitch on a length on middle and off, with the ball skidding through. Kaitano went for the sweep, but got a top edge which popped up for a relatively comfortable catch. 43/1
10.3 to J Gumbie, loud and confident appeal for lbw by Hasaranga, and he has started his celebration even before the umpire raises his finger. Gumbie had a word with Ervine, but they took too long, and so ran out of time to review. Real-time replay gave the indication that it was too high, but replays show it would have hit leg stump. It was the googly once again, pitching on a length on the stumps. It turned back in, with Gumbie stuck back in the crease in trying to clip but missed. It hit him on his back thigh, and the umpire gave it out. 46/2
10.6 to CR Ervine, Hasaranga has his third! And again, in Stuart Broad and Vernon Philander fashion, he celebrates without looking at the umpire. Ervine is trapped in front. This was the legspinner, as Hasaranga angled this back in while landing it on the shorter side of a length on off. It turned back, as Ervine missed his attempted block, and was trapped in front. Replays show it would have the middle stump. 47/3
12.3 to M Shumba, Hasaranga strikes on his third ball after resumption and continues his celebrappeal! Bowls it full and lands it on off and middle, the traditional legbreak. Shumba lunges and looks to defend but is unsure of the turn and is beaten on the inside. Plumb in line. 48/4
17.1 to C Madande, Wrong one is the right one for Hasaranga, who picks up a five-for upon return to international cricket. Generously tosses it up, lands it on a length and bowls it slower, Madande looks to slog it with the spin but only underedges it onto the stumps. Hasaranga is ecstatic and what a comeback this has been after a long absence. 67/7
22.4 to WP Masakadza, Chameera with a screamer that gives Hasaranga a six-for! Masakadza puts his head down and goes for a massive slog sweep across the line. It was the tossed up googly. Gets a top edge, Chameera has his eyes on it as he runs to his left from short third and puts in a full-fledged dive. Best figures for a spinner at Khettarama, Wanindu Hasaranga. 96/9
22.5 to B Muzarabani, Seven-for for Hasaranga, best figures in ODIs for him! Slips in a quick googly, pitching fuller than good length on middle. Muzarabani looks to defend but the ball is too quick for him and beats his bat to trap him in front. 96/10

0.5 to WIA Fernando, Comes back in sharply, appeal for caught behind. Not given, Zimbabwe are confident and decide to review. Ultra-edge taking a while to load. Was a length ball at 128ks coming back to go just over middle and off, think it bounced more than Avishka expected. He tried blocking it towards mid-off but couldn't adjust to the ball as it cut back. One hand came off and Ultra-Edge spots a murmur. Ngarava has the first-over wicket.. 1/1

12.5 to S Daniel, Chipped up, finds deep midwicket. Daniel danced down, Masakadza flighted it well and induced the shot a tad too early. It ballooned off the bottom of the bat and Shumba takes a dolly. Tough outing for Daniel, didn't get going but fought through and allowed the skipper to take the side close.. 74/2
