West Indies have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead with a seven-wicket win. The visiting Zimbabweans gave a much better account of themselves today, with three batsmen striking fifties as they reached a competitive 273 for 8. They managed to keep the West Indian openers reasonably quiet early on, before a double-wicket over from Hamilton Masakadza raised Zimbabwe's spirits. They threatened a fightback, and should have had Sarwan run out shortly after he reached fifty. This was not their day, however, and despite the poor umpiring decision Zimbabwe should have asked for a review. Sarwan didn't offer them another chance to get back into the match. He just batted on and on, accumulating relentlessly, and Pollard's hitting at the end turned the match decisively at the end. Stick with us for the presentations, where I'd be very surprised if Ramnaresh Sarwan isn't the Man of the Match.

Alistair Campbell chats to a slightly deflated Brendan Taylor. "The guys put their hands up and fought hard today. You have to give credit to Sarwan for holding the innings together. Losing myself and Vusi up front probably set us back by 20 to 30 runs, otherwise we could have scored more than 300. Chatara can show some pride in his performance, but there's still room for improvement. Mushangwe bowled in tough situations, and to go for just over 40 was excellent. There's a lot of cricket left, and we'll be looking to do our country proud."

It's Dwayne Bravo who is the Man of the Match for his career-best 6 for 43. "Congratulations to my team for a marvellous effort, it was a tough chase," he says. "Sarwan opened, anchored the innings and showed his class with that knock. No need to panic at the end, we had Pollard, Russell and myself to come. We wanted to challenge ourselves, challenge our abilities, and it was also good to see the crowd come out to support us. We know how it feels to lose series, and this has been an opportunity to win one so it's a great feeling. I just want to do my best for West Indies cricket."

That's all from me today. If you've missed any of the action today, or would like to have the game reviewed for you in some detail, have a look at Abhishek Purohit's report. I do hope you've joined ESPNcricinfo's coverage of this game, and do join us again on Tuesday for the third and final ODI at the very same venue. Until then, goodbye!

there it is! Sarwan strikes the winning runs, glancing through square leg, to get the spectators dancing in the stands.

Jarvis to Sarwan, no run

turned off the pads, but straight to the fielder and there's no run to be had.

The field comes up now, with just one run needed.

Chatara to Pollard, SIX runs

enormous. A monstrosity of a strike goes miles over wide long on. Chatara offered up a friendly length delivery and like a magician, with one swish of his wand Pollard made it disappear.

Chatara to Pollard, 1 run

yet another bouncer, this one a slower one. Pollard is too early in the shot, but takes a single after he cue-ends it to point.

Chatara to Pollard, 1 wide

another attempted bouncer, but it's far too short and balloons way over the batsman. Called wide by the umpire.

Chatara to Pollard, 2 runs

short of a length once again, and Pollard swivels as he pulls out into the deep.

4
Chatara to Pollard, FOUR runs

boom! This has come off the inner half of the bat, almost a thick inside edge, yet it's bounced just once before it's skimmed over the wide long on boundary. Pollard has such incredible power in his hitting.

Chatara to Sarwan, 1 run

Chatara is short to start with, and Sarwan pulls out to deep square. That's taken him to his best ever score in ODI cricket.

full again, and Pollard drives to long on.

Mark: "... 10 off the first three balls of this over. I take back the "good finish" comment :-(" Yes, things went pear-shaped pretty quickly!

46.4
Jarvis to Pollard, no run

Pollard has almost swung himself off his feet trying to send this one into orbit. It was the slower ball from Jarvis, and Pollard played much too early at it.

Mark: "You've set up a good finish here, Liam. Zim have obviously been a lot better in the field with a large score and some confidence behind them."

2
Jarvis to Pollard, 2 runs

that's a much better delivery, but it still costs runs. Close to the yorker, but Pollard's big bat send the ball to wide long on, and they push hard for a second.

Dylan: "Better performance from Zim today. Pity about the dubious runout call but got to say it could have changed things. From the looks of it, fielding has taken a marked improvement, diving here and there to save runs; much more like the Zim fielding we all used to admire."

Jarvis to Pollard, FOUR runs

hammered away! After the full toss, an attempted bouncer, but Jarvis doesn't have the pace to hurry Pollard and the ball races to the boundary.

Jarvis to Pollard, FOUR runs

a horrid start from Jarvis, who offers Pollard a leg-stump half volley that is gleefully put away for four. What's more, Jarvis has knocked the bails off at the non-striker's end for the third time today. Come October, that'll be a no-ball.
