Windies' Walsh Edges Out Morrison
Former New Zealand test fast bowler Danny Morrison lost his hold
on a cricketing world record without even taking the field
yesterday.
Morrison was relieved of his dubious status of having made the
most test ducks in a career when fellow fast bowler and West
Indies captain Courtney Walsh failed to score in the second
innings of the second test against Sri Lanka.
It was the 25th time in 93 tests that Walsh had been dismissed
for nought. Morrison had previously shared the record with 24
ducks in 48 tests. -- NZPA
