Mr. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Khan, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, has congratulated the Pakistan team for a clean sweep over West Indies in DMC-Toronto Cricket Festival-99.
Mujeeb met the team members right after the Match of 19 September and praised its performance at all levels and advised the players to fully prepare for the most important forthcoming Australian tour. He praised the selection committee and extended his felicitations to Col. Naushad Ali, Chairman Selection Committee, Remeez Raja & Abdul Raquib its members besides appreciating the coaching of Wasim Raja.
Pakistan captain Wasim Akram and vice captain Moin Khan thanked Mujeeb ur Rehman for the support of PCB to the players and assured to give their best professional output during future fixtures of the team.
Mujeeb ur Rehman stressed for adopting high professionalism and extended a cogent note for no looking back now. He emphasized on the quick implementation of the plans PCB has envisaged for the promotion of cricket both at domestic and international level and said that Pakistan cricket team's best performance shall now continue.
Javed Zaman Khan, member Ad-hoc Committee of the PCB and Col. Naushad Ali, Chairman Selection Committee, have also sent their messages of congratulations to Wasim Akram, Moin Khan and all the team members for their outstanding performance during the DMC Cup at Toronto.
