1 Kallis and Kohli had added a steady 63 for the fourth wicket before Jakati struck by removing Kohli. Kallis was run-out two balls later and Bangalore were suddenly at 117 for 4. Chennai claimed two in that over and didn't concede a run.
2 Vijay took charge of the chase by ripping in to Praveen Kumar, hitting three sixes and a four to take 24 off an over. Chennai had zipped to 38 after three overs and were well on their way.
3 Dhoni's dismissal in the 17th over sparked off two more wickets. When he fell, Chennai needed 24 from 21. When Badrinath departed nearly two overs later, Chennai nearly dragged the match till the last over.
4 A front foot no-ball by Vinay Kumar was scooped for six by Raina and Chennai finished the game with an over to spare.
