An unbeaten 82 run stand for the third wicket between Sanjay Mohan and Sunil Oasis steered Kerala to an eight wicket victory over Goa in the Ranji Trophy one day match at the Rajendra Prasad stadium in Goa on Monday.

Goa, put in to bat, were all out for 158 in 49.1 overs. Dinesh Rao with a gallant 53 off 126 balls with four hits to the ropes was the only batsman to show some semblance of a fight. Kerala coasted to victory in 43.4 overs. First MP Sorab (17) and S Shashikanth (31) put on 55 runs for the first wicket in eleven overs. And then the third wicket partnership between Mohan (44 off 106 balls with two fours) and Oasis (42 off 63 balls with seven fours) cemented Kerala's all round superiority.
