Maybe an unknown quantity for the Indian audience, but there is reason behind Royal Challengers Bangalore shelling Rs 2.8 crore for this big-hitting South African allrounder. He has played 77 T20 games and has a strike rate of 160.25 and has picked up 52 wickets in as many games at an economy of 7.88. But with Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Mitchell Starc sure to start, the number of matches he gets is likely to be limited.

Arguably the fastest bowler in the world at the moment. At 22, Milne may not have the experience but his ability to regularly hit 145 kph and above have seen him muscle into New Zealand's World Cup squad. Milne's T20 performances may not be the best but for Rs 70 lakhs, he's a good buy. Milne will also have to fight for the fourth overseas with Darren Sammy, Wiese and Sean Abbott.
