The following are the training and media arrangements for the remaining eight teams in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 for 18 April

The following are the training and media arrangements for the remaining eight teams in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 for 18 April:
  • In Grenada, Ireland and Sri Lanka go head to head in their Super Eight game at Grenada National Stadium. Play will get underway at 0930 and afterwards there will be media conferences involving both captains and the man of the match.
  • Also in Grenada, New Zealand has opted not to train and has no plans to hold a media conference. For specific media requests contact team media manager John Durning at +1876 823 2346. For the training and media arrangements for the Australia team contact media manager Philip Pope on +1784 593 9134.
  • In Barbados, the West Indies will train from 0900 until around 1130 at Kensington Oval, St Michael. At 1100, captain Brian Lara will hold a media conference. Bangladesh is scheduled to practise from 1200 until approximately 1430 at the same venue. Beforehand, a player is expected to be available to hold a media conference.
  • Also in Barbados, England has opted not to train and has no plans to hold a media conference. Contact team media manager Andrew Walpole at +1758 486 3964 with any media enquiries. South Africa has opted not to train and has no plans to hold a media conference. For specific media information contact team media manager Gordon Templeton +1246 240 4340.
  • Details of all media contacts for the eight teams that remain in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, as well as the eight that have gone home, can be found in the ICC's latest Media Notes publication that can be downloaded at: www.icc-cricket.com.
  • Also, please find attached your application form for semi-final media tickets. Applications will now open at 1800 hrs (EST) on Tuesday 17 April and close at 2359 (EST) on Saturday 21 April. All applications received within this time will be applied against the ICC Priority Order and you will be advised by email of your media ticket allocation on Sunday 22 April between 1200 hrs and 1600 hrs (EST).
    Please note that in the event of an over-subscription for either or both of these matches, waiting lists will be in operation and, if necessary, organisations will be limited to the number of representatives who will be allocated media tickets. All applications must be made on the official application form and returned to us in one of the following ways:
    1. By email to mediaticketing@rushmans.com
    2. By fax to +1876 922 0344 or +1876 967 2243
    3. In person at the media centres of Grenada National Stadium or Kensington Oval, Barbados during opening hours (please refer to your Media Guide)
    All applicants will be issued with a unique reference number when their form is processed. If you do not receive this reference number within 24 hours of submitting your application, you must assume that we have not received your form and should let us know as soon as possible.
