IMG on the look out for an alternative for Sahara Cup
The International Management Group, the official event managers
of the annual Sahara Cup in Toronto are on the look out for
another alternative after India pulled out of the five match
series against Pakistan in view of the recent terrorist
activities in the Kashmir Valley.
Press Trust of India reported that the IMG are evaluating the
options available. The stand of the sponsors of the annual event,
the Sahara Group, is also not still clear. Sahara withdrew from
the tournament when India pulled out from the event last year in
the wake of the Kargil crisis.
