Klusener case goes to arbitration

Lance Klusener's complaint against the United Cricket Board will go for arbitration in November. Klusener claimed unfair dismissal after the UCB failed to grant him a contract earlier this year.

According to Klusener, the UCB had virtually guaranteed him a contract for 2003, only to then leave him out of the squads that toured Bangladesh and England.

Legal representatives from both sides attended a pre-arbitration meeting at the Durban CCMA yesterday, and it was agreed that arbitration will be heard from November 17 to 21.
