'No-balls should never ever be missed'

The cricketing fraternity called for the use of the third umpire in no-ball calls after the big miss during the IPL game in Bengaluru

Royal Challengers Bangalore needed seven to win off the final ball against Mumbai Indians. Lasith Malinga conceded only one run, against Shivam Dube who was on strike, but replays revealed that the on-field umpire S Ravi had missed spotting a front-foot no-ball. The mistake was criticised by both captains, and many in the cricketing fraternity called for the use of third umpire in no-ball calls.

I believe with the technology that's being used in cricket for different things what happened in the #MIvsRCB match highlighted that more should be done.

It would have been better if Shivam Dube was out on the last ball, seems like that is the only way umpires would have checked the #noball

Technology should be used much more often in cricket ... so many front foot no-balls missed all the time in all formats and only checked on dismissal. Should be as simple as 3rd umpire telling the umpire through ear piece that a no ball has been bowled.
