The official logo and trophy for the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup 2004 in Bangladesh will be unveiled in Dhaka on Tuesday 11 November

The official logo and trophy for the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup 2004 in Bangladesh will be unveiled in Dhaka on Tuesday 11 November.
The tournament will be contested by 16 teams from 15 February to 5 March 2004 with matches at eight different venues throughout the country.
The ICC's 10 Full Member countries will compete with Canada, Ireland, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Scotland and Uganda for the trophy.

ICC President Ehsan Mani will be in Dhaka for the launch which will be attended by many local dignitaries including Md Fazlur Rahman, Hon. State Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Bangladesh Cricket Board President Mohammad Ali Asghar MP.
"This tournament is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the development of cricket in Bangladesh," said Mr Mani.
"Matches will be played at venues that have never hosted international cricket before and the tournament will leave behind a strong legacy of practice, playing and spectator facilities."
This will be the fifth ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup. The first was held in Australia in 1988 and won by the hosts. After an initial gap of 10 years, the tournament has been a biennial fixture in the international cricket calendar since 1998.
