PCB names scrutiny committees

Lahore, Oct 16: The Pakistan Cricket Board election and scrutiny committee has formed its sub-committee for three provinces namely Sindh, Punjab and NWFP to carry out scrutiny of clubs in their respective areas and subsequently conduct elections.

A similar committee for Balochistan will be announced later.

The PCB allowed the committee to also co-opt two members from each division or zone to facilitate the scrutiny process.

The last date for completion of Performa for each club is Oct 31.

For Karachi a specimen Performa can be obtained from the National Stadium, Karachi.

The following are the provincial sub-committee:

Convener: Ghaffar Ali Khan. Members: Akbar Mahmood, Waqar Husain, Fasiullah Siddiqui.

Col. Kewan Jah Bahadur. Members: Col. Jahangir Mirza, Major Riaz Burki, Major Ahmad Anwar.

NWFP: Convener: Asif Khan (Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan). Members: Musharaf Rasool (PE and D Deptt), Imtiaz Husain (Assistant Director PDA).
