The Queensland batsman Greg Moller has finally overcome a hamstring injury and is ready to play the Pura Cup match against Tasmania next Monday. Moller scored 78 in the opening game of the season, but he was hurt while appearing for the Cricket Australia Chairman's XI against Sri Lanka and spent the next two months trying to regain full fitness.
Moller is one of two changes for Queensland, with James Hopes returning from his international commitments during the Chappell-Hadlee Series. Chris Swan and Grant Sullivan have been dropped to make way for the two batsmen.
Queensland, who are last on the Pura Cup ladder and out of the race for the finals, are faring better in the FR Cup. The third-placed Bulls will face the Tigers, who lead the competition, on January 27 in Launceston as they try to remain in touch for a trophy.
