Dale Benkenstein?s South African A team flew out of Johannesburg international airport on Thursday for their six-week tour of the West Indies.
The side will play four-day ?Test? matches in St Vincent and Guyana as well as three one-day internationals in Jamaica.
According to United Cricket Board managing director Ali Bacher, the side is the most exciting SA 'A' team ever to represent the country. "There are so many young players with immense promise in this squad and so many of them have the potential to play for South Africa.
