Sporting stars gather at the galleries!

The Galleries is celebrating the start of spring with an event that will appeal to all cricket fans. As family sponsors of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, The Galleries is hosting a cricketing event on the ground floor to encourage youngsters to join the Club's Young Gladiators. Nets will be set up on the ground floor mall and there will be the chance to bowl against top players such as former England wicket keeper Jack Russell & Team Captain Mark Alleyne. Why not take the opportunity to pick up some invaluable cricketing tips from the stars of the game?

Membership to the Young Gladiators is only £12 (under 16s) and this gains members entry into all Gloucestershire County Cricket domestic matches, played at three grounds - Bristol, Gloucester & Cheltenham. Members will also get an autographed team photo, unique Junior Gladiator cap, free family ticket for one of the new Twenty20 competition & Birthday & Christmas cards signed by some of the players. Those who join at The Galleries this Saturday will also be able to get their photo taken with one of team, holding last year's trophy. An opportunity not to be missed!

Galleries' shoppers will be able to meet the Club's mascot - Maximus the Gladiator -who recently showed his incredible stamina in the `Mascot Ascot' held at The Galleries in order to raise money for Comic Relief. There will also be the chance to enter the prize draw to win a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) for a Twenty20 game this season including a signed bat & a 'new' replica team shirt.
