Sylhet falter but hold on for draw
All three matches of the National League finished in draws as rain had washed out a full day's play

At Sylhet, Mohammad Rafique and Naimur Rahman worked their magic to snare six wickets as the two spinners ripped the heart out of Sylhet's batting order. But Dhaka will rue having lost a day's play for rain as they ran out of time while chasing a meagre target.Rafique, the left-arm spinner, conceded only 24 runs in 20 overs for his three wickets while Naimur's offspin yielded 3 for 7. Set to score 147, Dhaka reached 16 without loss in four overs when stumps were drawn. Dhaka collected two points from the drawn match, raising their tally to 14, while Sylhet jumped to the third spot securing ten points.Rezaul Haq Nayeem of Sylhet was adjudged Man of the Match for his fine all-round effort.
Chittagong 389 for 9 dec drew with Khulna 215 for 5 (Hasibul 75*, Asadulla 61)
Hasibul Haq's dogged resistance foiled Chittagong's hopes of taking the first innings lead at Comilla. It later won him the Man-of-the-Match award.He carted four boundaries as Khulna, resuming the day four at 81 for 4, finished on 215 for 5 in reply to Chittagong's mammoth 389. Asadullah Khan was the other notable contributor with a patient 61. His 203-ball vigil was interspersed with eight fours and he put on 110 for the fifth wicket with Hasibul. Khulna raised their tally to 11 points while Chittagong moved to eight points.
Rajshahi 190 and 232 for 5 (Mashud 73*, Anisur 54) drew with Barisal 266
Khaled Mashud, the national wicketkeeper, made a gritty unbeaten 73 as Rajshahi finished on 232 for 5 in their second innings at Barisal. Barisal still bagged still four points by virtue of taking a 76-run first innings lead. Imran Ahmed, the Barisal opener, was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant 152.
