Alex Tudor has been ruled out of the fifth and final Ashes Test against Australia at The Oval.
The Surrey fast bowler injured his right hip during England's six-wicket victory at Headingley, and therefore cannot make his first Test appearance on his home ground.
Tudor was recalled for the third Test against Australia at Trent Bridge after a two-year absence from the England side.
Tudor's injury reduces the England squad to 13, with fast bowlers Richard Johnson of Somerset and Leicestershire's Jimmy Ormond both hoping for a place in the final line up.
England will decide on the spin situation tomorrow, with both the Middlesex slow left-armer Phil Tufnell and Glamorgan's off-spinner Robert Croft in the thirteen.
