Victoria took first innings points on day three of its Pura Cup
cricket match against Western Australia today, but the Warriors ended the
day with a chance of an outright win thanks to centuries from Simon Katich
and Mike Hussey.
The Warriors will go into the final day at 2-231 in their second innings, an
overall lead of 227 after Katich made 102 and Hussey 102 not out.
Earlier the Vics declared at 7-219 in reply to the Warriors' total of 215.
Brad Hodge made 81 for the Vics and Peter Roach 51 not out.
