Bangladesh v Sri Lanka, 2013-14

Wisden's review of the third ODI, Bangladesh v Sri Lanka, 2013-14

15-Apr-2015
At Mirpur, February 22, 2014 (day/night). Third one-day international: Sri Lanka won by six wickets. Bangladesh 240-8 (50 overs) (Mominul Haque 60, Mushfiqur Rahim 30, Naeem Islam 32, Nasir Hossain 38; K. T. G. D. Prasad 3-49); ‡Sri Lanka 246-4 (47.3 overs) (M. D. K. J. Perera 106, L. D. Chandimal 64). MoM: M. D. K. J. Perera. MoS: S. M. S. M. Senanayake. The series won, Sri Lanka rested some senior men, but made light work of a seemingly competitive target of 241, thanks to a maiden one-day international hundred from Kushal Perera. Mominul Haque's fluent 60 had given Bangladesh's innings impetus, though too many of the middle order were guilty of making starts, then getting out. Perera's busy 138-run stand for the fourth wicket with Dinesh Chandimal formed the body of Sri Lanka's chase; both fell to Rubel Hossain, one of Bangladesh's most penetrative bowlers.
