That's cricket, that's life. Hats off to Virat and the Indians in general, first, for believing in themselves, and then for actually pulling off a most unlikely win. You've got to give credit where its due.

Having said that, Malinga and the rest of the Sri Lankans aren't school kids. They will pick themselves up, dust off, and will walk into the MCG tomorrow to beat the Aussies. If they are good enough, they will meet the Aussies in the finals, and them beat them agian.

@SomeCents: how does the nature of the pitch in any way affect the pace of a yorker?? if the ball was pitching on a good length or short of a good length then the nature of the pitch comes into play. Playing a yorker plainly and simply depends on following the speed and trajectory of the ball and Kohli was spot on with that.

how come Kohli and malinga look quite similiar(except for the hairstyles)in this cartoon? Kohli looks like venugopal rao or manoj tiwari here. A mix of venugopal and murali maybe. SMH!!Don't draw people like you want them to look

@ Je Xenna ... Virat Kohli batted his best Innings of his life ... while Malinga bowled not only the world innings of his life but also the worst one ever by any bowler... so why should the whole Sri Lankan team bear the brunt?

So, so lame. Not even remotely funny.

Malinga was NOT bowling badly. Kohli just had this knack of picking off those yorkers with tremendous power. I wonder if the fact that the pitch was slow gave Kohli that extra millisecond to get his timing just perfect. Yorkers are just millimeters away from a half-volley. Kohli was also picking the slower balls, so Malinga was screwed!

Not a great cartoon - there is hardly any humor in it and it's not even factual. Technically, India didn't land a 'knock-out' punch on Sri Lanka yet. SL will still, in all probability, make the finals. The cartoon would have made much more sense in any (or both) of the 2 scenarios: 1) With this victory, India had knocked out SL 2) Malinga really lost his teeth during the game (while fielding/bowling/batting - somehow).

Wow. Best of your cartoons. Malinga's reaction is ROFL for sure.

Cartoon not in good taste. It has become (player) personal. You could have put Sri lanka team instead of Malinga.

Agree with abdurrazzaq. Lol @ pic. and @ Malinga figures - conceded 96 runs. Goodness me ! Who would have thought this would happen to the World' Best death bowler ? that too by a Young batsman ! But Malinga is still World's most feared bowler. :)
