Division One

Points Table
A two-wicket win by Middlesex at Southampton has given Hampshire scant chance of avoiding relegation in the National League. Hampshire, who on Saturday clinched the C&G Trophy after defeating Warwickshire, notched up 227 for 6 in their 45 overs; John Crawley continued his fine form in this competition in making 92 and sharing a 101-run partnership with Sean Ervine. In reply, Middlesex lost Paul Weekes almost immediately, but Owais Shah (96) and Jamie Dalrymple (57) put on 139 for the third wicket as Middlesex regained control. Hampshire, and Chris Tremlett in particular, struck back to leave Middlesex tottering on 222 for 8. But Chris Peploe struck the winning runs, leaving Hampshire in the bottom three of Division One, facing almost certain relegation.

Division Two

Points Table
Warwickshire were given no respite following their C&G loss to Hampshire at the weekend, as Wes Durston clobbered 58 from just 38 balls to take Somerset home. Warwickshire had set Somerset 279 to win, thanks to a knock of 112 from Jonathan Trott. And Warwickshire had Somerset on the ropes at 187 for 6 before Durston combined with John Francis (42) to take Somerset through to victory by four wickets.
