Ashes competition results

Well, life's not very good if you're an England fan at the moment, but for the five lucky winners of our competition thing's couldn't be sweeter (probably). They'll each receive a pair of Boony and Beefy dolls (courtesy of VB) and an exclusive Ashes T-shirt with authentic anti-Aussie motif (courtesy of Marston's). We appreciate this part of the prize is great if you're English and painful if you're not, but you can always give it to the mother-in-law...

So, the answer to the question was obviously PAJ 'Daffy' DeFreitas, who was a member of the victorious Ashes squad in 1986/7 and was still pounding in for Leicestershire in 2005. Good man. There were some pretty strange suggestions ranging from Gary Pratt to Orville the Duck but thankfully these five came up with the right answer:
