Glamorgan thrashed Kent by an innings and 161 runs at Canterbury to pick up their first win of the season in the Rothesay County Championship.
Asitha Fernando took 3 for 18 and Timm van der Gugten 3 for 33 as the Welsh side dismissed Kent for 176 in their second innings, having enforced the follow on after rolling them over for 212 first time out.

India 342 for 7 (Mandhana 116, Deol 47, Rodrigues 44, Kumari 2-59) beat Sri Lanka 245 (Athapaththu 51, Nilakshika 48, Rana 4-38, Amanjot 3-54) by 97 runs
India posted the highest women's ODI score in Sri Lanka, and their fourth-highest total in the format, which set them up for a statement win in the tri-series final in Colombo. After piling on the runs, they dismissed Sri Lanka for 245 to underline their dominance over a side they have only lost to three times in 34 completed ODIs.
Smriti Mandhana scored her 11th ODI century, and first against Sri Lanka, and was the senior partner in the two stands that formed the spine of the Indian batting effort. She put on 70 for the first wicket with Pratika Rawal and 120 for the second with Harleen Deol as India raced to 190 inside 33 overs. Deol, Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues all contributed scores in the 40s and India scored 90 runs off the last ten overs to top 340.

Mohammad Abbas took five wickets on his Nottinghamshire debut to put the Division One leaders in a strong position against his former county after 16 wickets fell on day two of their Rothesay County Championship clash with Hampshire at Trent Bridge.
The 35-year-old Pakistan seamer, who took 180 first-class wickets in four summers at the Utilita Bowl before agreeing to move to Trent Bridge for part of this season, finished with 5 for 31 as Hampshire were bowled out for 196 in their first innings in reply to Nottinghamshire's 333.

Glamorgan are eyeing their first victory of the Rothesay County Championship season, after reducing Kent to 156 for eight in their first innings on day two, a deficit of 393.
Earlier Ben Kellaway hit 181 not out, the highest-ever score by a Glamorgan batter at Canterbury, and his side posted their best score against Kent, declaring on 549 for nine.

After bowling Worcestershire out for 180, Sussex then stretched their overall lead to 170 by reaching 66 for three in their second innings by stumps, with Tom Alsop and James Coles confidently seeing out the day on 24 and 27 not out respectively.

Tom Latham struck 184 off 319 balls, the highest score by a Warwickshire debutant, Ed Barnard harvested a career-best 177 not out from 254 and Zen Malik helped himself to a maiden century - 105 not out off 119 - as batters gorged themselves on a road of a pitch prepared to nullify the champions' bowling threat.

The 24-year-old seamer added four wickets for 37 runs on the second day to finish with 6 for 51 - numbers only eclipsed by his 6 for 26 in the Roses match at Old Trafford in 2022 - and 19 wickets in all this season in the Rothesay County Championship.

In an unprecedented turn of events in a Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier game between UAE and Qatar in Bangkok, UAE retired out all ten batters at the score of 192 for 0 in 16 overs. It was the first instance of a team retiring out more than two batters in a men's or women's international match. UAE then went on to roll Qatar over for just 29 in an innings that featured seven ducks to seal a massive 163-run win in a match that lasted 27.1 overs.
Since the UAE innings also had eight ducks, the game saw a record 15 ducks, easily the most in a women's T20I.
Opting to bat, UAE openers Esha Oza, also the captain, and Theertha Satish were cruising along in their century partnership, with Oza on 113 and Satish on 74. But then UAE decided to end the innings. Since a declaration is not allowed in limited-overs cricket, Oza, Satish, and eight other batters (without facing a ball) were retired out. As a result, UAE were all out for 192 in 16 overs.

Lewis McManus led a spirited fightback with a fine 53 off 89 balls to rescue Northamptonshire after they suffered an early batting collapse on day one of this Rothesay County Championship match against Lancashire at Wantage Road.
All-rounder George Balderson took 4 for 55 and Anderson Phillip 3 for 65 as Lancashire's attack obtained plenty of bounce and movement to reduce Northamptonshire to 67 for 6 before lunch after electing to bat.
