Birmingham Phoenix gave themselves a healthy boost in their quest for the top three with a fantastic win against Northern Superchargers in The Hundred at Edgbaston on Tuesday.
Phoenix dominated with the ball, blowing the visitors away for just 83, before knocking off the fastest chase in the history of the The Hundred men's competition thanks to Ben Duckett and Moeen Ali.

In-form Dom Sibley's second hundred in three matches spurred Surrey to end a run of five straight defeats with their first Metro Bank One-Day Cup victory of the season, dealing a blow to Leicestershire's hopes of qualifying for the knock-out stages.
Sibley followed his 149 against Warwickshire and 72 versus Nottinghamshire with 105, sharing stands of 138 for the first wicket with Ryan Patel (72) and 111 for the second with Ben Geddes (61) as Surrey totalled 296 for 6. It proved enough despite losing five wickets in the last eight overs.

Northern Superchargers solidified their place in the top three of The Hundred women's competition table with another dominant win, this time away at Birmingham Phoenix.
Superchargers drew level on points with second-placed Oval Invincibles, as they bowled out Phoenix for just 54 runs, the lowest score ever in The Hundred women's competition. It comes just days after Superchargers dismissed Invincibles for 64 at The Kia Oval, the previous lowest in the competition.

Oval Invincibles returned to winning ways with a comfortable seven-wicket win over Manchester Originals in the Women's Hundred at Emirates Old Trafford.
An unbeaten 67-run stand between Paige Scholfield and Marizanne Kapp from 37 balls took charge of the run chase after the hosts managed 125 for 4. In-form Scholfield crashed 48 from 27 balls after opener Chamari Athapaththu laid the foundation with 33 from 36 balls.

Southern Brave made it four wins from five in the Hundred this year by thrashing Welsh Fire at Sophia Gardens.
James Vince's match-winning 73 from 50 balls in the first innings set Fire 140 to win, and the home side never threatened to reach the target. The Brave ended the night top of the table.

Welsh Fire cruised to the top of the table in the women's Hundred with a convincing win against Southern Brave at Sophia Gardens. Hayley Matthews took 3 for 16 to see the winless Brave bowled out for 84, a total that Fire had few alarms knocking off just three wickets down.
The Welsh side were into their work straight away when Freya Davies dismissed Smriti Mandhana with the first ball of the game - the second time Davies has taken a wicket with the first ball of the innings in this year's competition.

Northern Superchargers made it two wins from two over Manchester Originals in the northern derbies at Headingley in the Hundred on Sunday. Harry Brook's side beat the team from the other side of the Pennines by 14 runs to follow success for Hollie Armitage's team earlier in the day.
Originals won the toss and chose to bowl, which looked a great choice with rain falling before the start of the match and thick clouds overhead. Unsurprisingly then, Superchargers got off to a slow start with the bat, as Fazalhaq Farooqi took a wicket with the very first ball of the match.
