Sam Northeast sets up Glamorgan win as Ben Morris announces himself

Young seamer takes 3 for 52 as Glamorgan's perfect start continues

Glamorgan 283 (Northeast 89, Snater 3-45, Richards 3-68) beat Essex 251 (Westley 51, McIlroy 3-33, Douthwaite 3-41, Morris 3-52) by 32 runs
Ben Morris blasted a hole in the Essex middle-order to introduce himself on to the first-team stage as Glamorgan maintained their 100 per cent record in this season's Metro Bank One-Day Cup at Chelmsford.
A year after making his Glamorgan debut in the competition, the 20-year-old seamer grabbed his maiden List A wickets in only his third appearance with figures of 3 for 52 as Essex struggled to defeat. He was the perfect foil to his more experienced fellow seamer Jamie McIlroy, who took late wickets to register a career-best 3 for 33.

Felix Organ stars with bat and ball as Lancashire slip to fifth straight loss

Chris Green hits maiden List A hundred but damage done after Hampshire's early strikes

Hampshire 222 for 8 (Organ 74*) beat Lancashire 151 (Green 100, Turner 4-24, Wheal 3-14) by 71 runs
Felix Organ struck 74 not out off 57 balls before Brad Wheal and John Turner destroyed Lancashire's batting and their hopes of Metro Bank One Day Cup progression.
Hampshire had stumbled to 50 for 4 but Organ headlined a fightback with 74 and his second fifty of this season's campaign. Lancashire then outdid their host's top-order collapse by sinking to 19 for 5 in the face of Wheal and Turner's electric new-ball pace. The duo ended up with 3 for 14 and 4 for 24 respectively.
