Srinivas Venkatraghavan will officiate the first of the three-match
Test series between India and Australia in Mumbai, while AV
Jayaprakash and SK Bansal were named for the remaining two by the
Board of Control for Cricket in India in New Delhi on Sunday.
The International Cricket Council is yet to appoint its umpires for
the series.
Jayaprakash will officiate the second Test in Chennai from March 11 to
15, while Bansal will stand at the Eden Gardens in Calcutta for the
third Test from March 18 to 22, BCCI joint secretary Jyoti Bajpai told
PTI.
Mumbai's Wankhede stadium will be the venue for the first Test from
February 27 to March 3.
