Drakes goes for the leg-stump yorker again, and as Pollard looks to whip this away to the leg side for the second time running, he is beaten on this occasion. 18.3 to C Munro, taken at extra cover!! Rossouw ends up with a few steps behind where he was placed, as Munro ends up slashing aerially. It was another short ball from Holder, but this time Munro almost seemed to be cramped for room as the ball skidded on to him. He looked to swat it away, but mistimed it in the end. 213/4 18.6 to T Hinds, gone! Holder strikes again. Louis was at deep midwicket, and took a good few steps forward to gobble the ball. Yet another short delivery from Holder, who bowled this around middle and off. Hinds went pulling, but couldn't clear the boundary. 221/5 | ||||||||||

9.1 to AD Hales, gone! Salamkheil breaks the century stand... after Goolie nearly drops the catch. He took it on the second attempt at cover, after Hales slashed hard at this short ball dipping and arriving wide of off. Ideally, Hales should have dispatched that to the extra-cover boundary or thereabouts. But despite the favourable line, he misses out on an opportunity to score. 114/1 13.2 to N Pooran, taken at long-off!! Salamkheil teased Pooran with another full and tossed-up ball, and this time the TKR captain couldn't execute. The difference, meanwhile, was the fact that although the length was hittable, the line was well outside off, and there was also turn away. 8.1 to ADS Fletcher, gone!! Bowled him, and Pooran takes off on a celebratory run. Hosein angled this in, and bowled on a short of a length on middle. Fletcher shifted his weight back to try and clip it to the leg side, but the ball straightened to ping the top of middle. It was a typical left-arm spinner's dismissal, and Pooran sticking with Hosein pays off for TKR. 82/2 | ||||||||||

18.6 to JO Holder, bowled him!! Off comes the leg stump. Amir swung the ball in, and landed it on a yorker length or thereabouts. Holder went for the whip through the line but missed, seemingly because of the fullness of the ball, which went under his bat. A valiant, fighting knock comes to an end. 189/7 | ||||||||||

16.1 to A Athanaze, gone!! Narine gets his first. He gets this short-of-a-length ball to dip, and gets it finish outside off. Athanaze, hoping to replicate his captain's heroics from the last over, goes for the slog, but ends up finding the fielder at long-on. 165/6 | ||||||||||

7.3 to KR Mayers, taken at deep square leg!! The ball was in the air was ages, I thought, before it finally landed in the hands of the fielder. Tariq bowled full and slow, and hung it up in the air, before getting it to dip around just outside off. Mayers went for the slog sweep, but seemed to be beaten by the lack of pace. 80/1 9.6 to M Louis, stumped him!! This time Louis loses balance. He had his share of luck in the last over, but is beaten by a change up from Tariq this time. It was almost bowled with a scrambled seam, and on a short length just outside off. The ball straightened after pitching, as Louis leaned into the shot to try and push forward, but overbalanced and dragged his back leg out of the crease. Pooran had plenty of time to clip the bails, and Louis was gone. 95/3 15.1 to RR Rossouw, well taken by Pollard!! He was placed at long-off, and moved a good ten steps to his left while keeping his eyes on the ball. Tariq bowled this with a roundarm action, and went on the shorter side around sixth stump. Rossouw went launching it down the ground, and almost did well enough to get a boundary, only for Pollard's intervention. 152/4 15.3 to JU Goolie, bowled him!! The off stump is flattened. Gollie goes for a duck. Tariq bowls this on the shorter side of a length on off, and almost from what seemed like the back of the hand. Goolie looked to lean into the push with an angled bat, but the ball barely turned away to beat the outside edge, and strike the off stump. 152/5 | ||||||||||
