So there you have it, West Indies come away with the lead and will look to close out the series in St Lucia. Bangladesh will badly want to end this tour on a high as they look to regroup before the first day on the 13th. Till then, though, this is Rohan, on behalf of Karthik and Chandan, wishing you a good night! Ciao!

Denesh Ramdin, West Indies captain: Job done but Bangladesh definitely showed some fight in the second innings, especially Mushfiqur. Roach bowled exceptionally well on a flat pitch, and he was backed up by the bowlers as well. It is a cause for concern (the number of dropped catches). It is very important we work on those areas. Our slip catching has hampered us in the past and in St Lucia we definitely need to hold all our chances. Brathwaite is definitely going from strength to strength and is displaying immense maturity. We hope he can continue on to bigger and better things. Chanderpaul also batted well to support Brathwaite. I think our team is in a good place. Our batsmen are getting runs and our bowlers are getting wickets. We hope the pitch at St. Lucia will be a lot greener than the one we have had here.

Mushfiqur Rahim, Bangladesh captain: It's getting better (the injured finger). Hopefully it will be OK in a couple of days. After a long time we have had a Test so the boys looked a bit tired, but towards the end they showed some good character. We have a lot of areas to improve, especially in the batting, and hopefully if the boys apply themselves then we can do better the next time. Taijul has been great in the first-class arena over the last few years, while Mominul has shown good signs as well. All the boys are looking good and if they do the right things then we should do better. (When asked about playing solely as a batsman) Well it depends on the team and what management says.

Kraigg Brathwaite, Man of the Match: It's a good feeling. It was a difficult pitch but I worked hard and it brought me success. I got a lot better against spin bowling and I have been working on some things with the bowling machine, but I still have a long way to go. Everytime I go out I try to get as much as possible. Next game I will come back and work hard for the team.

The Man of the Match, and no surprises here, is Kraigg Brathwaite for his 205

Match presentation just about to begin..

James: "Man of the match prediction: Kraigg Brathwaite. Not that tough, i'd say."

Basheer: "Man of the match award should go to Mushfiq"

Arzoo: "Lets drop Kayes, Nasir and Rubel. Bring in Namul, Mithun and Robiul. Enough of Nasir, Rubel!"

Mike BACHAN: "I still cannot understand all this discussion about team selection!WI have either under achieved or has achieved little success over the past decade because of lack of talent thereof in my opinion. They are about to go 1 up against a very weak opponent.Shannon Gabriel is not WI problems!I can understand the argument over Kirk Edwards selection. But for once just let them be and enjoy a rare victory in Test Cricket for we West Indians."

We will be back shortly with quotes from the match presentation

As a result, West Indies win by ten wickets and take an unassailable 1-0 lead in the two-Test match series. Bangladesh can take solace in how they performed on the fourth day, but the way things progressed this morning for them, they know they will have plenty of work to do before they arrive in Gros Islet for the second Test.

Polite applause around Arnos Vale as the Bangladesh fielders come round to congratulate both opening batsmen. This has been a mighty fine effort from the hosts, who could have bundled out Bangladesh with an innings victory if it wasn't for some shoddy catching. Mushfiqur played possibly the innings of his life as he looked to save this Test, but just couldn't get the same kind of commitment from his team-mates.

and they get the single with a back foot push by Gayle square off the wicket on the off side

2.3
4
Al-Amin to Gayle, FOUR runs

excellent use of the feet to get down the track and clobber Al-Amin through the line as this screams away to the long on boundary. Scores are again level, with West Indies a single away from victory

2.2
Al-Amin to Gayle, no run

defends this leg side delivery back towards Al-Amin

1.6
4
Taijul to Brathwaite, FOUR runs

leans into this one nicely as he cover drives through the open off side, finding the boundary rope in no time

1.5
Taijul to Brathwaite, no run

played away a bit uppishly to leg, but thankfully no close-in fielders to cause any issue

1.4
Taijul to Brathwaite, no run

0.6
Al-Amin to Gayle, no run

0.5
Al-Amin to Gayle, no run

short of length on off, Gayle hangs back and bunts it to the off side

Interesting to note that Shamsur Rahman has donned the gloves in place of Mushfiqur, who is out in the field. Doesn't bode well for Bangladesh for the upcoming Test

0.4
Al-Amin to Gayle, no run

let through to the keeper as Gayle remains watchful outside his off stump

Mahmudullah has come in to third slip now... but you feel this is all for nothing..

0.3

Al-Amin to Gayle, FOUR runs

and he manages to erase about a third of the required chase by getting a leading edge to this one angled across him by Al-Amin, and with no third slip in place, this one just screams away to the third man boundary

0.2
Al-Amin to Gayle, no run

good length and angled across the left-hander, Gayle lifts his bat and lets it go

0.1
Al-Amin to Gayle, no run

starts off the innings with a nice back of a length delivery going across the big Jamaican, who doesn't go after it

The mission is simple: 13 runs to take an unassailable 1-0 lead in the series. Al-Amin looking to do some damage as he has the ball in hand

That was a pretty quick interval as Chris Gayle and Kraigg Brathwaite stride out to the middle
