That's it from us for this game folks. Thanks for all the feedback. Join us for tomorrow's game. Till then, this is Abhishek Purohit signing off. Cheers.

Dhoni, also the Man of the Match: "That we are unbeaten at home till now does not mean we cannot be in future. It is very important not to lose wickets, it is not about getting 9 run per over, it is about getting 7-7/5 which gives you a platform. We have got power down the order. There is fair amount of batting behind me which means I can go after the bowling. It is the kind of belief which we have got in the end. You have an advantage if you are the top two teams, you can go directly to the finals."

Hopes: "17-18 runs (margin) are a pretty accurate description of where we were in the game. After 15-16 overs, we were still in front, but Dhoni was devastating. The teams at the top of the table all have some power hitters coming in."

Hang on for the presentation

Ashwin: "It matters how it comes out of the hand. In this format, the batsman is going to come hard anyways, I don't think about that, I just see how the ball is coming out of my hand."

Chennai got 50 off the last three overs, Delhi got 31. The winning margin was 18 runs. That is the story of the match. Chennai go top of the table with this win.

Kandarp: "I dont know why we are so harsh on Irfan. May be its our expectations from him that we want him to excel and our reactions are the results of those expectations not being met. Else Agarkar and McDonald have gone for more than Irfan per over. And David Warner as an opener with fields in played with a strike rate lesser than 100. Why no questions raised on them?"

Balaji gets cheeky: "Someone forgot to tell Pathan that Sehwag is injured. Poor guy was waiting for his captain and found James Hopes on the other end."
