2nd Match, Dublin, Jun 18 2021, Cricket Ireland Inter-Provincial Twenty20 Trophy

NW Warriors won by 7 wickets (with 53 balls remaining)
Player Of The Match
54 (27) & 2 catches

Right from the beginning the Warriors looked to attack, every one of the Warriors batters scored at more then a run a ball. Stephen Doheny hit a very classy 54 off 27 balls, yet it was Getkate that really powered the innings along.

Getkate's 36 off only 13 balls drove the Knights bowlers to distraction, although that wasn't enough to win him the player of the match award, Stephen Doheny gets that honour.

The Warriors chased this target down in the 12th over, they pick up a valuable bonus point and are now top of the table on runrate from the Lightning.

It was a really poor performance today with both the bat and the ball for the Knights, tomorrow morning they play the Lightning, so things aren't going to get any easier. The game starts at 11am, hopefully you'll be able to join me then.

Until then, this is Justin saying good night from Pembroke.
