leans forward to defend and that's it Pakistan have earned a convincing win over the hosts
Bangladesh vs Pakistan, 1st Match at Dhaka, Jun 08 2008 - Ball by Ball Commentary
On a sluggish track, the Bangladesh chase never got going after the openers fell. It was a strange little innings from Ashraful who couldn't get going at all. He did end up with an unbeaten half-century but he couldn't get any momentum.
Ashraful: "They batted really well. If we had restricted them to 190 we would have had a good chance. We gave away 40 runs more. We need one of our openers to carry on after the start they got."
Malik: "Salman and Yousuf bhai played really well and in the end Misbah batted well too. The credit goes to the guys ; we want to be consistent."
Man of the match: Salman Butt.
