clubbed over mid wicket for four to end the game
Tasmania vs NSW, at Sydney, Jan 12 2009 - Match Result
The Tigers win by 28 runs here at ANZ Stadium and therefore keep themselves alive in the KFC T20 Big Bash.
Jason Krejza was superb with his right arm off spin for the Tigers, taking 3 for 23 off four overs which gave his side the edge.
The onslaught from Lockyear (51 off 29), Dighton (43 off 29) and Birt (44 off 17) proved to be too much even though they lost four wickets for ten runs through the middle of their innings.
All three batsmen hit the ball cleanly and cleared the rope with ease. It was a wonderful display of power and poise, with the Tigers hitting 12 sixes in total.
Krejza's 33 not out off 24 balls was equally as important at the death allowing the Tigers through to 194.
Krejza is rightfully named Man of the Match in a wonderful alllround display.
