Africa - Development Seminar
The development seminar for the East, Central and Southern Africa Countries was held in Benoni, South Africa on the 20th and 21st May 2005.

The aim of the seminar is to allow delegates to gain an insight into the workings of the program and what to hope for. Also to share expertise and interest accordingly, thus building a stronger team and in so doing build a stronger Africa Development Program.
The five key objectives viz. Participation, tournaments, high performance, spirit of the game and widening the market were discussed in detail. Issues such as good governance and planning, finance and budgeting, marketing and promotion etc. were also discussed intensely.
From the individual country reports it is evident that the program is seriously beginning to bear fruit and there is much more to be done. One issue which was discussed in detail was the aspect of interaction between countries and the communications aspect.
