Bermuda favourites for Americas Cup

Despite not having appointed a full time national cricket coach, Bermuda are favourites to win the first Americas Cup tournament. The tour party headed by BCBC president El James flew to Toronto today to compete against Canada, USA, Cayman Islands and Argentina for the prestigious trophy. Bermuda cricket fans who have yet to see Bermuda win any cricket tournament of significance in more than forty years will be anxious to savor success against countries heretofore considered whipping boys for the once respectable Bermuda cricketers. The tournament will be a major test and act as somewhat of a prelude to next year's ICCT. Canada after investing heavily in its facilities will be looking to upset Bermuda. All in all it should be a revealing contest.
