Dominic Cork has set his sights on the next World Cup following his recall to the England one-day squad.
Cork has not played a limited overs international since New Zealand in 1997 but hopes his inclusion for this summer's triangular series is a sign of better things to come.
"I am looking for a place in the World Cup in 2003," Cork said. "I played in the one in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and I would like to repeat that experience.
"I am chuffed that I am getting another go. I am probably a little bit fortunate with one or two injuries, notably to Craig White, that I've got in but I'd like to prove in England colours that I can play one day cricket."
Today's call-up for the games against Australia and Pakistan next month completes a successful England comeback for Cork.
He regained his place in the Test squad and was awarded a central contract after proving he had made a full recovery from the back injury that cut short his tour to Pakistan last winter.
