Robert Croft has signed a new contract which will keep him with Glamorgan until the end of 2009, by which time he will be 39.
"I'm still loving the game," Croft told the South Wales Argus. "I might be in the twilight of my career, but I refuse to say I'm at the end of it. I enjoy playing and hopefully a few extra signings on board for next summer will mean some team success which has been lacking over the last few years."
Croft said that he still has an ambition to reach 1000 first-class wickets for the county after passing 1000 in his career during 2007.
