England release Hoggard from Test Match squad

England have released Matthew Hoggard from the party at Manchester for the Third Cornhill Test Match against West Indies tomorrow. The young Yorkshire fast bowler made his debut for his country in the victorious Second Test Match at Lord's a month ago.

He has been released in time to play for his county in the championship match against Somerset starting at Taunton today. The Test Match squad now numbers twelve, an indication that Robert Croft, the Glamorgan off-spinner is in contention for selection.
