The Malian Cricket Federation recently held its 2005 adult tournament in Bamako. It began on the 24 December and continued over the following week, drawing to a climax on Friday 30 December. Six teams from four clubs took part, each enrolling a squad of 12-16 players. The Men's section involved about 60 players in four teams, playing 15 over group matches and semi-finals and a 20 over final. The Women's section was reduced to a best of three game, 15 over competition.
