Australian Daryl Foster arrived in city late Monday evening and was to
business Tuesday when he had his initial workouts with the Pakistan
fast bowlers. Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed said Foster was also
at the first practice match where he recorded bowling actions of some
of the quickies.
He said Foster would discuss actions and adjustments required to
improve them when he sits down with the fast bowlers. He, however,
said the PCB has selected some fast bowlers who would remain under his
guidance. He added that the fast bowlers would not be from the camp
trainees but didn't rule out the possibility of some attending
Foster's sessions if they required.
Yawar said injured pace duo of Mohammad Sami and Mohammad Zahid had
also arrived in Karachi who would remain under the Australian's wings.
Shoaib Akhtar, who is always in the news for wrong reasons, was also
scheduled to join the camp Wednesday.
