Gordon Muchall struck an unbeaten 64 to take Durham home in a thriller against Nottinghamshire. Gareth Breese took 4 for 21 at the death to restrict Nottinghamshire to 179, but the match went to the wire, with Muchall and Dale Benkenstein holding their nerve to take Durham to victory with three balls to spare. Nathan Astle also contributed a vital 64 at the top of the order to set up the win.
