ICC Cricket World Cup - practice and media conference arrangements for Monday 9 April

The following are the arrangements for the remaining eight teams on 9 April

The following are the arrangements for the remaining eight teams on 9 April:
  • In Guyana, Ireland takes on New Zealand at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence in what will be the final game of the ICC Cricket World Cup at that venue. Play starts at 0930 and afterwards, there will be media conferences involving both captains and the man of the match.
  • In Grenada, South Africa will hold a training session at Grenada National Stadium, Queen's Park, from 0900 until around 1130. At about 1100, coach Mickey Arthur will hold a media conference. The West Indies will hold a training session at the same venue from 1200 until around 1430. Beforehand, captain Brian Lara will hold a media conference.
  • Also in Grenada, Sri Lanka has opted not to hold a training session and has no plans for a media conference.
  • In Antigua, England has opted not to hold a training session. The ECB has indicated that coach Duncan Fletcher will hold a media conference for print media only at the team hotel at 0845.   • In Barbados, Bangladesh is scheduled to train at Windward Cricket Club, St Philip from 0900 until 1200. Afterwards a player is expected to hold a media conference.
