Hussain fell anticlimactically, caught at mid-on for one off Bangar's second delivery in one-day internationals, but the most frustrating dismissal was that of Hoggard, the last man, run out off the seventh ball of the 48th over. The match was tarnished by England's mean-spirited mood: Snape shoved Badani in the back, Hoggard gestured two batsmen back to the pavilion, and Flintoff sledged relentlessly.
