India v Sri Lanka, 2nd Test, Kanpur, 4th day

27-Nov-2009
After being clubbed for three boundaries by Angelo Mathews in the second over of the day, Zaheer Khan stormed back to get him caught at gully of the fourth ball of the over. The slide had begun early on for the visitors.
The 61-run partnership between Thilan Samaraweera and Prasanna Jayawardene for the sixth wicket looked to have steadied Sri Lanka, but Harbhajan Singh's offbreak sneaked through Prasanna's defences in the 38th over, to end the threatening stand.
India were faced with another delay as Samaraweera combined with Ajantha Mendis to put on 73 for the ninth wicket, but Yuvraj Singh ended the frustration soon after lunch. He trapped Mendis leg before for 27 as India inched closer to their 100th Test win.
