James announces a bumper benefit!

Steve James` Benefit Committee announced today that the sum of £160,287.63 was raised during Steve`s Benefit Year in 2001.

" I would like to thank, along with my committee, all the Glamorgan members and supporters, plus all of the firms and organisations who have supported me throughout the year, " said a delighted James.

This figures passes the £153,000 raised in Matthew Maynard`s Benefit Year in 1996.
