Kenya's search for a full-time national coach will continue this week with a series of advertisements after recent enquiries failed to produce a suitable candidate.
Samir Inamdar, the Kenyan Cricket Association's chairman, told AFP: "We must take a coach with international experience. Someone who has tested first class cricket."
He added that the KCA hoped to have the top-class coach in place to lead Kenya to next month's Intercontintental Cup semi-finals in Namibia.
Kenya have been without a national coach since Andy Moles left to join Scotland in March. Two former national players, Tom Tikolo and Alfred Boi Njuguna, have since taken charge of the team, who are scheduled to face Bermuda in the semi-final of the Intercontinental Cup at Windhoek on October 23-25.
